Policies and Rules

  • CANCELLATION POLICY: Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
  • This property is not pet friendly. Maximum pets allowed: 0.
  • No smoking inside the home.
  • Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
  • No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
  • Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.

Fees and Payments

  • All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
  • Firewood may be purchased on a per-night basis at the time of booking or with a week's notice. A night's worth is two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter for $25 plus tax. Let us know how many nights' worth you would like to purchase.

  • Parking is available for up to 2 vehicles.
  • Free parking is provided.
  • AWD or 4WD vehicles are required during winter months. The road leading to this home starts as paved then turns to gravel and is moderately steep.

Utilities and Amenities Access

  • Internet is currently satellite-based with a monthly data cap. It is adequate for checking emails and general web browsing but should not be used for streaming, videos, or gaming activities.
  • Depending on your phone carrier, your cell phone signal may or may not work in this location. Verizon has the best coverage here. If your wireless plan supports it you can use your phone's data as a hotspot.
  • Kitchens are well stocked with utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a starter set of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple of garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two.
  • Towels and bed linens are provided.
  • Hair dryers are not provided.
